Iran film to vie in Australia

Pouya Badkoubeh's movie 'Dressage' is to be screened at Melbourne International Film Festival.

Produced by Roohollah and Samira Baradari, the feature film is to vie at the 2018 edition of the festival.

‘Dressage’ tells the story of Golsa and her friends who, motivated primarily by boredom rather than greed, decide to rob a corner shop.

But while evaluating the steal, they are dismayed to realize that they forgot to take the security camera footage; so one of them must return to the crime scene and retrieve it.

The MIFF is a not-for-profit organization that has been continuously running since 1952, making it the leading film festival in Australia and one of the world’s oldest film festivals, alongside Cannes and Berlin.‌

The 2018 edition of the MIFF is slated for August 2-19, 2018.
